I am thankful for such a great teachers I have in school. I am also thankful to my parents because we visited Orlando Disneyworld and universal studios and also Miami in our Thanksgiving holidays.

This picture includes me and my parents doing a ride. I am the one in the red jacket.

1). Tan(44)= x÷ 23
0.965= x÷23
x= 0.965× 23
x= 22.195 feet is the height of the flagpole.
2) Sin theta= 16÷36
Sin theta= 0.444
Theta= Sin^-1 ( 0.444)
Theta= 26.359° is the angle of depression.

Trigonometric ratios –
We have been given theta as 57, adjacent as 6 and opposite as x. We have to find out the x. So we will have to think of a trigonometric ratio in which opposite and adjacent comes.
Tan 57= x÷ 6
1.539= x=÷6
X=1.539×6
X= 9.234 is the opposite.
Inverse trigonometry ratio –
We have to find out the theta which will be x, we have been given hypotenuse as 24 and opposite as 15. So- Sin x= 15÷24
Sin x= 0.625
X= 38.628

Inverse trigonometric ratios helps us find the missing angle called theta. For example, if opposite is 16, adjacent is 20 and hypotenuse is 31 and we have to go find the angle opposite to line of length 16.
Sin theta = 16÷ 31
Sin theta = 0.516
Theta= Sin^-1( 0.516)
Theta= 31.064

Trigonometry comes from two words- Trigon means triangle and Metron means measure.
Sine = opposite/ hypotenuse
Cosine= adjacent/ hypotenuse
Tangent= opposite/ adjacent
Angle opposite to 90° is hypotenuse.

In a right angled triangle, the sum of the squares of the lengths of the legs is equal to the square of the length of the hypotenuse. The longest side is called the hypotenuse, the side opposite to it, is called perpendicular and the side adjacent to hypotenuse is called base.

2) LINEAR MEASURE- FIND BD IF BC= 16.8 mm AND CD= 50.4 mm. ANSWER- BC = 16.8 mm and CD= 50.4mm then BD= 16.8mm + 50.4mm= 67.2mm
3) DISTANCE- FIND THE DISTANCE BETWEEN L( -7 , 0) AND Y (5, 9)
Answer- Formula to find distance- √( X2 – X1) + ( Y2 – Y1)
√( 5- (-7) + ( 9-0)=√( 12+9) = √21
4) REFLECTION- REFLECTION OVER Y= X
RULE = FLIP X AND Y= (X ,Y)= ( Y, X)
(-3, 0)= (0, -3) , (-4, 5)= (5, -4) , (-7, 5)= (5, -7) , (-6,6)= (6, -6)
